LEAD GENERATION · PROPERTY RESCUE

More conversions. Lower advertising costs.
24% lower cost per conversion · 10% more recorded conversions · 16% lower advertising spend

For a property-buying business, generating enquiries needs to go hand in hand with controlling acquisition costs. In a historical Property Rescue campaign supported by our team, specialist PPC partner Periscopix reviewed keyword spending and adjusted bids to help keep activity within the monthly budget.

Bids were reduced across a number of high-spending keywords. Weekly reporting tracked the effect on advertising costs, clicks, conversion rates and recorded conversions.

Landing-page tests were also assessed separately across geographical campaigns, helping the team identify where different approaches were working.

Comparing 14–20 March with 7–13 March 2016:

  • Recorded conversions increased from 170 to 187.
  • Cost per conversion fell from £60.19 to £45.75.
  • Advertising spend reduced from £10,232.26 to £8,554.85.
  • Conversion rate increased from 8.1% to 9.8%.

Despite fewer clicks, the campaign recorded more conversions at a lower advertising cost.

Careful monitoring and targeted adjustments can make a meaningful difference to campaign efficiency. This weekly comparison shows why we look beyond traffic volumes to the cost and response behind them.

Historical weekly results reported by Periscopix. Conversions are advertising-platform measurements, not verified completed property purchases. Costs shown relate to advertising spend.

TELEVISION & PAID SEARCH · PROPERTY RESCUE

From the television screen to the search bar
218% more branded paid-search clicks · 153% more branded impressions · Recorded brand conversions doubled

A television advert can prompt people to investigate a business online before making contact. Property Rescue’s September 2014 campaign provided a clear example of that connection. Our team supported the television activity alongside the client’s wider marketing partners.

Following the television launch on 8 September, the campaign partners reviewed paid-search performance alongside broadcast timings.

The analysis considered branded searches, clicks, impressions and recorded conversions. It also examined activity throughout the day to explore how online response related to the television schedule.

In the first week following launch, the PPC partner reported:

  • A 218% increase in branded paid-search clicks.
  • A 153% increase in branded paid-search impressions.
  • Twice as many recorded brand conversions.

The increase appeared in searches for the business’s name. Campaign-specific television keywords had not received impressions at that stage.

The early results illustrate how television exposure and an existing online presence can work together: viewers have a way to discover the business, investigate its service and take the next step.

Historical first-week observations reported in September 2014. The comparison indicates an association with the TV launch; it does not isolate television’s incremental effect or establish completed sales.
